Maxime, Nicolas and Vincent met while working at the French Treasury. In 2012 they launched AlephD, their first startup which was eventually acquired by Verizon Media in 2016.
In 2020 they joined forces again to create Sarus, driven by their willingness to unlock the potential of data without any compromise on privacy.
Maxime is CEO of Sarus and leads the business operations and strategy.
Prior to Sarus, he was AlephD cofounder/CEO and, after the acquisition by Verizon, held a Sr Director role in charge of analytics and optimization products.
Maxime holds a Masters in Physics and Computer Science from École Polytechnique.
Nicolas leads Science at Sarus.
Prior to Sarus, he was cofounder/CSO of AlephD and eventually led a research time Verizon Media.
Nicolas graduated from ENS Lyon where he obtained a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science before completing a Master at ENSAE Paris.
Vincent leads Technology at Sarus.
Prior to Sarus he was CPO of Owkin and cofounder/CTO of AlephD until the acquisition.
Vincent graduated with a Master in Mathematics and Information Technology from École Polytechnique and Télécom Paris.
Elodie leads the Product at Sarus. After 6 years in Data Science Consulting, she decided to focus on data privacy and healthcare, while remaining at the crossroads of business and tech.
Convinced that data can be a game changer to reinvent our society and take up today’s challenges, she’s keen on setting a safe framework so that the individuals and their data are always protected while innovating.
